Epic can’t stay away from the heavy-hitting Star Wars mini-collaborations, but what about a full-on Star Wars-themed season similar to Chapter 2 Season 4 Battle Pass?

Never tell me the odds

There are a few critical pieces of information to consider when speculating on an upcoming Star Wars-themed season.

First, there never was a full-on Star Wars season like we saw with Marvel a while back, but based on that, we can infer that Epic has a working relationship with Disney (the owners of the Star Wars brand, unfortunately).

Second, we did, in fact, have a decent crossover in the form of the Mandalorian in Chapter 2, Season 5, BUT this was a far cry from the crossover level of the preceding Marvel season.

Third, we currently have the Boba Fett crossover, a very popular skin, and we have seen epic ease into crossovers this way in the past.

Lastly, the current season will be ending early to make way for the next season, which will be ongoing during the May 4th Star Wars celebration.

It would seem our predictions are not far off. Data miners recently discovered that Lightsaber data files were re-added to Fortnite’s game files in the v19.10 update. This is a strong indication that the Lightsabers will go live in the game at some point. Hopefully, we will see even more Star Wars information down the line!

That’s no planet

While this is all purely conjecture, at this point, it’s always fun to speculate, and it’s a large part of what makes Fortnite seasons so exciting. There’s no telling, yet, whether or not we will get any meaningful Star Wars crossovers in the future, but there are some nods that may indicate it could be something that happens down the pipeline.

So, is it possible? Absolutely. Is it probable? Only Epic can honestly answer that question, but, based on what we know in terms of the direction the game is going and how Epic has handled past crossovers, it is likely that we haven’t seen the last of entire season-based crossovers or Star Wars items making their way into Fortnite.

Regardless of what happens, hopefully, we can, at the very least, have a better May 4 shop this year. Here’s looking at you, Kylo Ren.
