You will definitely want a carrying case for your switch as well as the inevitable collection of games that you’ll get.
I personally went with an officially licensed Nintendo case and loved it. It can hold 8 game cartridges, or 6 games and 2 extra SD cards. It has a piece of material to cover the screen and protect it from harm as well.
Overall, it is a sturdy case that does a great job of keeping your Switch safe during travel.

HORI Wired Controller Accessory
The HORI wired controller is a great product.
Considering its price point, it’s sturdy, precise, and can change the way you play some games. It was a game-changer for me when I first picked up Dragonball FighterZ. However, some negatives to the controller are the weight and lack of vibration. In addition, the controller is very light and does feel somewhat cheap.
With that being said, I have not had an issue with mine after using it for over a year.

Nintendo Pro Controller Accessory
The Nintendo Pro Controller is probably the most popular controller for the Switch. It’s rechargeable, can read your amiibos, has HD rumble and motion controls. While costing more than a wired controller, it still gives great value for its price.
The brand of this controller speaks for itself.
The Wii-U Pro Controller was famous for its ridiculously long battery life as well as solid build. The newest adaptation of that controller continues to be a step in the right direction in giving great battery life, a solid feel to the controller, and more precise input than the joy-cons can give.
