Mass Effect’s Normandy is now available in No Man’s Sky.
Normandy in No Man’s Sky
No Man’s Sky is the perfect game for Mass Effect’s Normandy to be available in. The game focuses so much on spaceships, and yet I never thought how cool it would be to have some iconic ships that we’ve seen in other games as crossovers.
The Normandy is a frigate-type starship, and the main reward, that players can earn through completing the Beachead expedition.
It’s worth noting that once players complete the expedition and receive the Normandy, they are able to acquire it from Quicksilver Synthesis Companion within any other save they have in their game.
This crossover is a clear tie-in with the recent release of the Mass Effect: Legendary Editon, which you can check out more on here.
This is a great way to advertise, I think. It’s more than just an actual advertisement, it’s a fully unlockable piece of content that players can experience. Hopefully, we see more companies adopt this form when it comes to advertising and creating crossover content.
The only real negative I have to say would be the time limit. The Expedition 2: Beachhead is only available until May 31st, so be sure to get started on it now! It’s unknown if this ship will be available again at a later date. So, if players are interested in unlocking the Normandy, they should do so as soon as possible. The end date for this event is rapidly approaching.
The Normandy can be earned by completing Expedition 2: Beachhead in-game. You can check out a walkthrough on the wiki here.
