We’ve recently picked up No More Room in Hell and have been having an absolute blast with the game.
While originally starting as a Half-Life 2 mod, No More Room in Hell was greenlit on steam and is a standalone game now. It is also completely free on Steam, so I highly suggest checking it out if you haven’t.

Spicing it Up With Steam Workshop
No More Room in Hell is fine as it is, especially for a free game. However, what really makes it next-level fun is its ability to be modded thanks to the Steam workshop.

I went through some of the popular mods and tried them out and compiled a list of a few that changed this up for the better, but not in an overbearing way.
I really loved the ammo display mod. I’m sure as you play the game more, you would learn the ammo types based on their box. Until you learn that though, the display really helps.
The blood particles, glowing eyes, and lighting mod were nice small changes to the game. However, even as small changes, They really spiced the overall experience up for me.
I’m a sucker for more personalized first-person FOV customization, so the arm and glove mod was a must for me also.
Wrapping Up
My time with No More Room in Hell has been great recently. I love when games like that are able to become successful after starting as a mod. I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with No More Room in Hell 2, which is currently in early access, but not playable.
For everything else No More Room in Hell, keep it here.
