More than simple remasters, These rereleases will have much more to offer; here are all of the new upcoming changes in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

What are the Changes?

One significant change that we will see in the remaster is the removal of HM’s as we knew them in the originals. You will now no longer have to have Pokémon who know the HM; instead, you will pull up an in-game menu and activate that HM.

With that, HM’s are streamlined a bit, where pressing A in front of an HM environment will activate that HM. IE, pressing A in front of water will bring up the prompt to surf.

Autosaving will be implemented in the game, but, thankfully, will be able to be toggled off. This will surely be great news for people who farm their legendary catches until they get the nature they want.

We will also see current Pokémon typings in the game, such as Fairy types.

Experience share will return in the same fashion as we have seen in Pokémon Sword and Shield, where it is no longer a held item by one Pokémon.

TM’s will go back to their old ways where they will be single-use. It will be interesting to see how TM’s will function. Will their usage be stringent on how difficult it is to acquire?

Like Pokémon Sword and Shield, you will be able to access your box Pokémon at any time, instead of needing a PC.

Once you battle a Pokémon and re-encounter that Pokémon later, super-effective/not-effective/etc. will be displayed on your Pokemon’s moves.

Grand contests have also been overhauled. In addition, they have been made more streamlined in the form of a Rhythm-based minigame.
