Aliens updates, Dokkan Download Celebration part 2, Fortnite challenges, some No More Heroes III on the Switch, Watch Dogs: Legion, and more; here’s what we’ve been playing for the week of Sept. 10.

It’s (far from) Game Over, Man!

Aliens: Fireteam elite can’t stop winning, in my book. The recently released title has had a great launch and now has added to that with a great kick-off to the game’s first season of content. A new class to play as and rank up, a handful of new weapons, new skills to unlock and create builds with, new cosmetics to unlock are all the kinds of content that I love. I haven’t dipped much into Horde mode yet, so that will be a lot of fun, and I’m still having a great time rerunning the different campaigns levels.
I’m currently working on ranking up the new Phalanx class and getting all my other classes to Rank VII. The grind is just enough to keep me playing without feeling fatigued yet, and I applaud the title for that, as tuning the grind in any game is a very fine line.
Overall, I’m very content with the experience and I can’t wait to see what comes next for this title.
Dokkan Every Day

I can’t put Dokkan down these days, even after 1,100+ days logged. This is hands down the best Download Celebration the game has ever had, and I think the game is in the best place it’s ever been in before.
Link leveling continues to be a big part of my time spent in the game, as well as dokkaning new units, completing the new AGL Goku EZA, and then continuing to run it for the additional Hercule Staues because the new LR Frieza makes it such a breeze (same with the TEQ Frieza EZA and the new LR Goku).
I’m also looking forward to finishing off the new F2P Vegeta and Krillin exchange unit, the new Zarbon and Dodoria, as well as EZAing the full Ginyu force. Aside from that, I’m trying to save up stones for the upcoming Pure Saiyans 170% Vegeta lead, and the LR Gogeta.
Here’s to even more link leveling, awakening units, and getting those EZA clears.
Fortnite Challenges, End of Season Catch-up, and More

The end of a season in Fortnite is often as exciting as the beginning of a new one. With all of the event prep going on for the season finale, everyone is trying to catch up on those challenges, finish up customizing their Kymera skin, unlocking all the Superman items, and hitting max rank.
I’m only really concerned with unlocking all of the Superman items, and, for some reason, when I logged on, I randomly completed a ton of challenges and got them all.
At this point, it’s just about collecting any straggling alien artifacts and getting a few more Kymera options, enjoying the map in its current iteration, and looking toward the speculation of next season before this one wraps up on Sunday.
More No More Heroes III

No More Heroes III is a blast to play despite dabbling very lightly in previous entries of the series. The presentation is great, the music is awesome, and the gameplay is a lot of fun. Right now, I’m working through the story, collecting scorpions, kittens, t-shirts, and completing mini-games so I can afford more upgrades.
I’m really looking forward to what New Game + has to offer, and what hidden costumes I can unlock.
