Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 7 is now live with a comprehensive launch trailer to show off all we can expect in this new season.
Chapter 2, Season 7
A new season is upon us with some big changes to the map, loot pool, battle pass, character skins, crossovers, and much more.
Season 7 focuses on aliens, including a Fortnite, with a fully customizable starter skin in the battle pass. This time around, players can grab collectibles throughout the map to pick up exclusive currency to purchase new customization options for this season’s battle pass starter skin. Oh yeah, did we mention that Superman will be in this season’s battle pass? Yeah, that’s a thing. Epic went so far as to include the fan-favorite regeneration suit as an option for the skin. Sadly, for arbitrary reasons, this skin is currently locked behind another 60+ days before players can unlock and play as the last son of Krypton.
It was previously rumored that Loki, Thor’s brother, would be making an appearance this season as well, perhaps as the mid-season challenge skin? Who knows, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out.
Wrapping Up
This season doesn’t appeal to me as much as last season, and the battle pass skins are not really to my taste, aside from Superman.
I am excited to see what comes next, what other crossover skins we see, and I know that a ton of players are excited about Rick Sanchez as a crossover skin.
